For one, Chinese Torture Chamber Story. Its the story of Little Cabbage, a poor girl taken into a man's house and then framed for adultery and murder by her master's wife. The torture scenes involve castration, pulling fingernails out and a bad-ass wooden donkey ride-you'd know what i mean if you saw it! Some of the sex scenes are magical....no, really they were wizards! It brings new meaning to the mile high club. And lastly, how did the murder victim die? He took a potion which made his giant-sized penis explode.
Lorna, directed by Russ Meyer's was a bit disappointing for me, after last year's "Beneath the Valley of the Ultravixens". However, I think one guy said it well, when Lorna standing nude at her window turned slightly revealing her extreme rocket-shaped breasts, he cried 'holy sh*t!!!!!'
Big Meat Eater was beautiful. Not since I saw Little Shop Of Horror has a film so dazzled me with the use of song and silly death scenes. But to bring in alien robots from another planet as well, was just genius. They even managed to hide the robots' wind up key too!
But lets not mock minitures until we come upon Attack of the Horny Gorilla. The effects in this film were so bad, and the budget so low that they had to keep reusing footage. The only highlight was when the gorilla flipped off the audience.
I still can't figure out though, why Police Story was included. Okay so Jackie Chan is odd, and he does some pretty stupid dangerous things for his movies, but at least the moves are real, unlike Tai Chi Master where they flew all over the show doing crazy things with strings!
But if I had to choose a best film it would have to be Score. It was full of sex, drugs and a phone repair man? and the characters lived happily and loosly ever after.
So if you missed the fest this year, make sure you go next year, and long live the Incredibly Strange Film Festival!!!!!
Luv and sunshine
